Glyph Icons
Each week I share a set of icons that you can download and use in your projects. These icons are essential for web designers and web developers to create consistent and beautiful websites and web apps. It is awesome when you can find large, diverse icon sets that you can download for free and use in your projects. There are tons of designers out there who are willing to provide these awesome icon sets for free. This week’s free icons is a set of 220 Glyph Icons by Catalin Fertu, from Romania. You can preview the set of 220 glyph icons below.
There are plenty of useful icons in this set, such as ones that you would use on a website, or a mobile app. I really like the outline style, because it’s simplistic, and very modern looking. You’ll find icons for navigation an typical user interfaces. There are icons for zooming, scrolling and loading. These icons would look great in any color, and they are unobtrusive. In Photoshop, you could also fill the paths so that the icons are solid instead of outline, which may fit the look of your site better.
Via Dribbble, Catalin says that these icons are free to use, however you want. That is awesome, because it gives you free reign to modify these however you want. You can also drop them into your own personal or commercial projects. They are in Psd format, which means you can open and edit these 220 Glyph icons in Photoshop and customize them to your liking.
