Divi WordPress Theme
If you’ve worked with the Divi drag-and-drop WordPress theme, by Elegant Themes, then you know how much of a delight it is to work with. It’s simple, and you can create an infinite number of layouts with their framework. One concern I’ve always had is customizing the theme. With such a complicated theme, crammed with tons of functionality, my worry is always been that the CSS would be tough to edit and customize. However, working with theme, I realized that elegant themes thought of this when they developed this awesome drag-and-drop WordPress theme. Every panel in the Divi WordPress theme can have a CSS class or ID applied to it. This makes it easy for you to customize and override the styling of Divi easily.
When you drag and drop the different panels inside of the Divi theme, there are several options that you can choose from. You can choose from different colors of text, as well as background images and other advanced options. One option that’s always available, and is frequently found at the bottom of each panel’s options, is the ability to add a CSS class or ID to that panel.
This enables you to add your own custom class to one panel, without applying it to anything else. This gives you a wide range of customization options, or you can focus on making each module look exactly how you want it to. This is exactly why the Divi WordPress theme is so spectacular. You can focus on the design of your site, without having to fight the theme itself or the way that it is developed.
In the tutorial video, I showed you how to add a CSS class to a panel to remove padding and margin from each module. Using what I showed you in this video, you can have complete control over your WordPress site and how it looks.
