Using the Yoast Seo WordPress Plugin
Seo is what drives just about any blog. With stellar SEO, your site won’t get good search engine traffic. You won’t get found, and you will be losing out on valuable visitors and revenue. In the beginning, I struggled with good SEO, because I couldn’t find a good plugin for WordPress. I needed something to analyze my site and notify me when I am missing a key element. It’s tough to remember every little thing that goes into good SEO, especially when you are sitting down to write a post or set up the content for a page. That’s where the Yoast SEO WordPress plugin comes in. It makes SEO for WordPress easy. I can’t put it any better than that. It has vital SEO templates to follow for each page and post, and it all depends on how you decide to set it up. I love the Yoast SEO WordPress plugin for its global settings, combined with the ability to perform on-page seo for each page or post independently. This provides an excellent fallback method. In the video below, I show you how to begin setting up the Yoast SEO WordPress Plugin.
About the Yoast Seo WordPress Plugin
What I like a lot about the Yoast SEO WordPress Plugin is that if you have an older site, you can use this plugin to go back and help improve SEO. By setting the rules via the options that I showed you in the video above, you” see that you can apply global SEO settings to pages, which is an excellent fallback. It is a great alternative to going back and having to manually perform SEO on every post and page. In the video, I mention one of my sites that has 600+ posts, and how this would help to instantly improve SEO over trying to go back and do it manually for all of those posts.
So what do you think of the Yoast Seo WordPress Plugin? Were you able to set it up easily? If you have any questions, feel free to post them in the comments section below.
